What is the difference between LED lights and solar lights?
LED lights and solar lights are both highly regarded products. However, they are significantly different in many ways, understanding these differences helps us to make the right choice according to the actual needs.
First, the core working principle of the difference
LED lights, known as light-emitting diode lights, its light-emitting principle is to rely on the semiconductor material in the compound of electrons and holes to release the energy to light.
During the day, the solar panel absorbs sunlight and converts it into electricity, which is stored in the battery through the controller; at night, when the light intensity is reduced to a certain level, the controller will automatically sense and deliver the electricity in the battery to the LED light source, thus realizing the lighting.
Second, the difference in energy sources
LED lights are a single source of energy, mainly relying on external grid power, need to be connected to the home or other places in the circuit, through the consumption of electricity to maintain work.
Solar lights come from solar energy, it is through the solar panel collection of sunlight and converted into electricity, completely free from the dependence on the traditional power grid.
Third, the difference between installation and use of the scene.
The installation of LED lights usually requires the connection of wires, the need to consider the layout of the circuit and the installation location of the power supply.
Solar lights are relatively flexible and convenient to install, do not need to lay complex wires, just install them in places with sufficient light, such as courtyards, street lamps, lawns, outdoor parking lots and so on.
